Talking Krimson's FS Thread (watch for updates)

Updates 01/31/08

First things first. Heatware is under Krimson [ HEATWARE.com ].
I hardly use ebay, but my name on there is severed_ties if you want feedback.

I accept paypal, GCO, cashiers check, and personal checks (but only after they clear, sorry)
I dont mind shipping first to a good buyer, but I will ask your name, number, address (so I can come and light a bag of poo on fire if you screw me).

-----------------------------------------------
Contact Info:
isp email: nswetland _AT_ comcast +dot+ net << dont even bother, I check it once every 3 months
my email: nate.swetland _ AT _ gmail << same for paypal/GCO
aim: darkness207
msn: deadpuppies69 +at+ hotmail *dot* com
the best chance to reach me instantly is email I am on msn/aim all day, but im away all day, and I dont check at work that much, but I constantly check my email.
-----------------------------------------------

I am open to reasonable offers, I am open to trades (ill list what I am looking for below). I am also open to combos.. the more you buy, the more you save on the items and shipping.
None of these prices are set in stone. I will most likely ship USPS unless you have some major problem with them, but I live next door to them, so it makes it very easy for me.

*As a general rule, shipping WONT be included in the price because I will do discounts on shipping and whatnot, but if a $5 shipping charge becomes the only reason I cant sell an item, then we can obviously work something out.

*If the prices include shipping, then that means shipped to the Continental US...

*International (or non CONUS) shipping will be on a case by case basis.. It tends to be overly expensive, and a altogether nightmare, so unless you are willing to work well with me on it, i try to avoid it. but dont let that stop you from trying, but tell me ahead of time!!!

As far as returns.. some stuff is tested and working, and others is not.. Generally speaking, on the untested stuff, I have no problems refunding your money and we can reach some agreement on shipping. As for the tested/know to work stuff.. we'll do a case by case basis I suppose.

If there's something listed that you would like more info, more pictures, etc on.. reply here, or PM me.

If there is something on here that the price is absolutely rediculous, please keep it private?? PM, IM, email
This page will be updated as I sell/add more stuff. Keep checking!

Quote:
Things I am looking for (I will consider all trade offers, or trade + cash, etc but dont be offended if I dont accept them):
SATA2 Hard drives.. Id like to set up a nice raid NAS box so If you have several of the same ones, even better. Id like to get one smaller one for an OS (like a 40 or 80gb) and then bigger ones I can raid 5.

Sata DVDRW Drive - I dont need DL or lightscribe, but i wont say no to it.

Sata2 Raid card - see above reason.

Sata Raptor Drive - 32gb is fine.. but ill take bigger if you got em.

A HTPC case. Horizontal orientation.

A good PCIE Video card.. (like a 8800 series.. yes a long shot, but who knows)

Hard drives:
These have been tested a few weeks ago with an external usb>ide adapter?????
Maxtor 30gb Model : 53073U6 IDE $13
WD WD300 30gb Model: WD300AB-22BTAO IDE $13
These guys are all smaller drives, but perfect for old linux boxes for folding/routers/firewalls/grandma/etc These below are all $8 shipped (apiece)
Maxtor Model: 88400D8 8.4gb IDE
WD Caviar 23200 Model: AC23200-60LC 3.2gb IDE
WD Caviar 22100 Model: WDAC22100-18H 2.1gb IDE
MDT? s/n: WL609B470034 6.4gb IDE
Quantum Fireball P/N:CR84A011rev01-B 8gb IDE

I also have some dead drives that spin up and everything, but wont read Would be good for a mod. Theres like five 3.5 drives, and one 5.25 Quantum Bigfoot LMK if anyone wants them.. just pay shipping and their yours.
If someone doesnt grab these in the next couple weeks, I am tossing them.

Motherboards:
Tyan 200T $35 Dual pIII motherboard. Ran two Tualatins for years at 1.2ghz I OCd it a little bit. Great as a server board.
**if bought with the Dual P3 CPUs, I'll cover shipping (save like $9 or so).

CPUs:
2xpIII 1.2ghz Tualatin $13 apiece $25 for pair- Used in my 200T barely overclocked, and not for long. Cpuz says "Socket 370 FCPGA2"

**I will combo the Tyan 200t mobo and the 2xP3's for $50

Memory:
A LOT of SDRAM.
i have a few (most has recently sold) sticks of 128mb of pc66-pc133 ram. All tested with memtest.
I also have like 10 sticks of 64mb of pc66-pc133 ram. Also all tested.
Im thinking like $5 a stick, or like $40 shipped for all of it.
I am more than willing to cut some deals with people with this.

Add-on Cards
I have a SLEW of old pci/agp video cards.. Varying from your ever popular 4mb S3 Virge, to I think a gf4 4000. If you want an old video card for a spare box, or a nostalgea gamer, hit me up.

I also have a few NICs who knows.. maybe someone needs one.

I do have one 4 port nic. I think its a Dlink card.. I used it for a ghetto router for a while. It would be nice for like a multiple ISP solution, or a fancy Linux router project. I was thinking something like $20, but make an offer.

I think I have a couple old sound cards laying around, too. Mostly just your creative PCI.. I might have one SBLive! Card, too.
I realize this is about the most non-specific section, but if someone is looking for something specific, please specifically specify what they are looking for????? generally speaking?????

Cases
They're mostly just random cases from old computers that I have acquired. I think they are all ATX but one. Good for modding I suppose. I made a picasa web album for them. im sure you can figure out the labeling
link:
Picasa Web Albums - Nate - For Sale
**These are all +shipping and are all OBO**
case1 - $12 case2 - $7 case3 - $12 Pending case4 - $7 case5 - $7

Nintendo Gamecube $48 shipped No games are included (i have none left). It includes The purple (indigo) gamecube, 4 controllers (one indigo, one indigo/clear, 2 black.. ALL OEM) the original 16mb? memory card. And, the regular hookups (rca cables, and original powerbrick). I bought all of this like 2 weeks after they came out, and never bought another game. The only issues i know of are that one of the controllers, the yellow "c-joystick" floats once in a while... very few games use this, and if it does it, if you just move it a little bit, it stops. Also, on the rca cables, i split them apart a bit so that they would reach my tv and my stereo... they work fine, you just may want to zip tie it or something.

Car CD/MP3 Player - Panasonic CQ-DFX572U. LINK
This was pulled from a friend's volvo. It was working when I pulled it, and it has been sitting in a closet since. From what I remember, its a really nice HU, it playes CDs and MP3s, has aux inputs for XM/Sirius/Ipod, etc... It has the wiring harness, and if you still want it, the fascia from the Volvo... I dont have the manual, nor do I have the remote.
This would be a great upgrade to that sorry-ass factory stereo you have always wanted to replace! Im thinking $70 shipped OBO
If you want to see pictures, let me know!

Water Cooling - Cooler Master Aquagate S1 - $50
This is an all in one cooling system that never/rarely needs refilling, and comes with everything you need to get up and running. I have two of them, but the second one is unavailable until I swap out coolers (should be a few days)
Pictures available on request.

Dead Motherboards
If anyone has any interest in dead Motherboards, whether it be for parts, or modding, or if you want to strip the parts off them and use the board as a case, or whatever... let me know.. i have about a dozen dead boards (who knows, some may work).
I only would ask for shipping costs, and the more you want, the cheaper shipping will be.
If nobody wants them, I am going to throw them away in the next couple weeks!!!
If someone wants pictures, ask.

the biggest problem with this will be shipping. i basically will let it go pretty cheap, like i dunno.. $50 or something (cheapest on the egg is $75... if thats way high... feel free to counter-offer)
it has a 3 slot pci riser card for it, also.. i dont think i mentioned that.

if you have any good ideas on how to ship it, feel free to help me out... its a little big, and pretty heavy. the PSU would be throw in because i cant guarantee that it even works (it did before the vicious attack, though)

See how much shipping is to zip 29720 threw usps. You would have to pack it urself but it's pretty cheap.

it's weighing in at 19lbs without the PSU.. im guessing at the very most after packaging and PSU, it wont be over 25 lbs, so thats what i put into usps.. and according to their package stuff, i should be able to fit it into a "small package".
priority - $19.65
parcel post - $17.85 (but since its wider than 17" it may incur an additional charge.)

if you want, i will make myself a big box and pack it all in there and get a final size and weight.. but as it looks right now, its like $20 to ship, which is actually not nearly as bad as i first thought.

let me know!

i FINALLY got it checked out. its AGP, and its a 64mb MX420. it has an aftermarket HSF on it, but it was originally passive, so theres no power header for the fan, so i guess it's still technically passive. (it runs plenty cool)

i could do like $12 shipped for ya if you want. if thats not a good deal, lmk and we can work something out.

well.. it would depend on how many you buy.. but, i dunno... $5 apiece? as of right now, im looking at 10 sticks... and as far as i know, they are in working order... i dont really have the means to check them ALL out, but they seem to be in nice shape...

and the NICs should all be 10/100... i will double check ones that seem questionable, but most of them say 100tx right on the back.

if you buy a lot of the memory and several of the NICs, ill be more than happy to cut a good deal with you.
