Ok Ive put f@h on that opteron, it's behind a router so do I need to forward any ports on it?

edit: wait not the opteron , the sempr0n!

I think F@H just uses port 8080 to send and recieve data, so im guessing you already have that port setup correctly.

Yo Dex,i've just added a 2.3ghz Celeron for ya! You may laugh but this computer is on almost permenantly with no one using so i think it'll be a good little folder.

As soon as I get a couple of wireless adaptors for my old laptops I can also add an old P1 266 and a P2 365, now they are gunna kick some ass.

Are you trying the graphical or console version? One of my borgs, an Athlon 2800 gives me weird errors with the graphical, the console version is folding on it now, no problems. What are the system specs of the machine? I am sure we can get that 'puter folding!

Correction your using the 'Console' version, DOS doesn't exist on XP, its a fake pretending to be DOS. lol

Oh, and is it just me, or have the FAH sigs not updated for ages? According to Stanford, we have 262 under the belt, but my sig has been showing 219 for weeks...

I've confirmed that sempr0n is folding away. The box is pretty much on all day, although not throughout the night.

If someone can convince me that a 1.7 Celeron is happy rnning at 45-50C all day then that is a Borg waiting to happen...

Its the chip inside Offsring but the cooling isnt exaclty BIG... its silent but pretty warm...

What do we think? Yay or nay?

My 2.4 Celeron runs high 40's-low 50's, F@Holding 24/7

I have Cellroy that is 1.2 and it folds 24/7. It is a dedicated folder. No monitor, mouse or keyboard.
Never have checked the temps. it has a stock HSF.
It spits out 1 WU every other day.

Well team, we're now in the top 100 for 596 pointwise

Been checking the listed active CPUs on Stanfords stats page, don't think many of these borgs have reported in yet, could you all have a quick check up on the machines you can access easily and just check the log files to make sure none of the clients are having any problems sending/receiving work.
