Since I got my lappy, being a new toy I've neglected my desk top and decided to atleast get it folding.
I have tried reinstalling and all kinds of things but it keeps getting stuck on "waiting for core" normaly I get the core and it starts working around step 9 but I waited and it got to step 99 waiting for core but never starts working??? I don't have a network yet so I'm resetting the cable modem when I switch between pc's
I know the desktop has a good internet connection cause weatherbug shows current weather.
I'm using Executioner as donator and 596 as team I know the 596 is right and was planning once I get the desktop going I'll join up with one of the teams. I plan on leaving both pc's (the lappy and desktop)
running F@H all night avery night and just the desktop 24/7 (except when the kids are on it)
Any ideas on this problem?
The desk top is an MSI nk4n w/ AMD 2600+ Athalon XP only 256k at the moment but that hasn't stopped F@H before.
I didn't transfer anything from the desktop to the lappy I just started from scratch on the laptop.
could there be an issue with ip adresses? since I'm alternating the internet connection?
