It looks like I got my Christmas present from PimpRig a little early. I switched over my rigs and borgs to PimpRig last May from a highly competitive folding group. I felt more at home here than on the other site.

This site drove me crazy at first with not much folding going on! Now Folks are starting up teams, getting competitive, just basicly stepping up and getting their Fold on! In the past, it seemed that there was very little interest in folding.

Now we have T2, Ator, PimpJuice, Cracker, and yes Team Fred_G doing some folding! And also the folks
like BigAkita, Perc, and all the other top 100 people who have been folding for a long time!

I am pretty serious about the folding program, so thanks for stepping up! And to all of you who are folding on one or two computers, props to you!

That is great Gred_G, and Folding is a great thing to contribute to, but you all forgot the most important Folder, lokies_mom! She was here and doing it before most of the rest of us were. She is the one that got all of us up and going, at least me.

Big thanks to ALL of you for stepping it up. If everyone keeps adding a rig here and there, we should be able to break 40-50k points a day before long. I'm trying my best, but it's hard to find time to get around to peoples houses to tweak their systems and setup F@H. At least i'm trying, and it wouldn't hurt for some of you to try it out as well. I only have to access to a certain amount of people, ya know.

Oh yeah, and lokies_mom is quite the cool lady. She helped me as well. I don't know too much about the history of Team Pimprig, so i'll have to look through the past threads or something to get the full picture of how it all got started.

Here's a riddle. How do I get F@H to auto-minimize to the systray on startup? I want to put F@H on my parents' Dell, but my dad will probably think that it's spyware and close/delete it. Any help?

Their isn't any way that I know of...the old Pimprig F@H installer package comes with a TrayIt program which minimizes anything into an icon in the tray, but you have to manually right-click the close button to do this. Have you tried talking to your parents about it?

if you D/L this version , then once you install it all you'll see is a lil' gear/protien thingy in the bottom right toolbar. http://folding.stanford.edu/download.html top one is the one ya want, version 5.03 , Windows NT / 2000 / XP graphical client .

Yay!, i should be getting a new pc after Chrimbo, atm I have to close it whenever i open Photoshop CS2, or call of duty

Just explain to your Dad what it is. Show him how to stop and restart the program (put an icon on the desktop). If your Dad has any problems with his computer and folding, you can pm me, I will try to help, and I am sure you can post here or pm Thrasher or other folders for help!

You are correct! Fred_G would like to send a special thank you to Lokies_mom! I think lokies_mom is well aware of my previous frustration with the folding team here. And I can not believe I forgot her...
