| well, my 160 dollar processor that outperforms the best XP which cost more than twice last i checked.... hmm- and hell, except for the 64s, is posiubly the best proc. around, and at least the best P4, but thats just me i guess yes the 1700 is a VERY good value, but with its puny FSB you just cant get the memory scores to fully take adavnatage fo the speed but yes, i knew i was asking to get flamed by saying i prefer intel but the fact is, the 2.4c owns on a 1700 for price/performance since it will outperform almost anything in a price range nearly twice as much EDIT and i never said it would be better for F@H, i just said it owuld be better. F@H is not a good benchmark for much of anyhting, though the AMD archirtecture does pose a helluvalot of advantages for it and other things- | ||

| Umm... I'm talking about F@H, period. AMD's pwn at it. The FSB doesn't matter at all, it's pure processor power and the AMD's rock at floating point math operations, no way you can deny that.
As per your post below. I said that a couple of messages before, no need for a new post Last edited by jcarkeys; 10-December-03 at 09:46 PM.. | |||||||||||||||||||||
