I apoligize for all of the changes folks!. If everyone will make sure that their teams are on team 596 just to insure all work gets credited to our team and we are not split between two teams. Again sorry for all the confusion.

P.S. I told you 11115 was a real team BA!

lol no big deal. As long as everything get worked out. My fault, should have been more specific that our team will not show up until at least one WU is credited.

Hey Scape.....I was pulling a 32 hr shift at work, unable to switch teams from 11115 to 596.

Maybe, you being the one that set up 11115 can talk Stanford into rolling those 4 or 5 work units over to 596.

Anyhow, on 596 now so it doesn't really matter....but 4 units is still 4 units.

i will try putwig, can promise an results though i think i read something somewhere about not being able to transfer unit, but let me get intouch with them and see whats up.

Well I switched from 11115 to 596 in time......I have proccessed 5 WUs so far. I was running 5 comps....but only 3 now cuz I'm on vacation and have 2 comps with me with a POS dial-up connection. I will be back up to 5 comps in a few days....raking up the points again, even though 3 running full speed at home should be sufficient.

Whooooo hoo ....I'm second place! It shows I only have 3 WUs ATM though....hmmmm......It must have a long refresh rate on the site....like every 3 hours or something.

That site is soooo slow at loading......even on DSL....this dial-up make it even slower.

Can't wait to get back home....I neeeeed my broadband.

Well, I finished my first WU Wu-hoooo! (596)
It is working on the p171_villian. Anyone else working on this one? Hmmmm, I'm in fourth. How does it rank points? Anyone know. I had looked but couldn't find.

well.. if you think a 24kbps connection for an hour or two at a time will make a difference, i'm in.. something tells me it just wouldn't be worth it though :p (5 years later: I finished my first unit!!) (alternate timeline, 5 years later: "Thanks to distributed computing we have finally analyzed all the research and as soon as this one last packet comes back we will have the cure in our hands.. just a few more years and he'll be done...") LOL.. i think the second was more fun :p

No duck im running p180_endhomeoGB. Ya ive noticed too that the stats site is extreamly slow. And it takes at least a few hours for new WU to be updated. As far as points are concered. This is what the site says on how it ranks points

Yeah, I got a couple other machines going. But it don't add up to much cause it will take a week for them to complete a unit. I have two good ones running up the WU's.

yep definitly can tell! Ive only got my puny machine smashing those protiens, hoppfully i can finish my new system finished somtimes soon and get it on, i have my laptop crunching the numbers when i have it on, but no way im leaving it on 24hr!!

Actually, I broke down and started running F@H on Midnight Blue. I never would before because I am so touchy about where my temps are at, but I've only gained about 1C running it 24/7. I set the processor utilization at 50%.

I wouldn't run it for anybody else on my main system, but for PR, I willingly make the sacrifice of 1C.

Thats great BA, now we need to get somemore pimps to get on and help us out!. I know GK is busy updateing the site, so maybe after he is done we can talk about getting our team a more permanent home on PR.
