| I believe we are up to 54th spot now, an amazing accomplishment. We are even passing up teams that had passed us earlier. Come on Bro's, donate some spare CPU cycles to the team. I've been folding for months and like the idea that my computer is being productive even when I'm not. I noticed one of our recent members, Goozle, is kicking major ass on the team. Anyone got the horsepower or balls to try to take him on? Insomniac, I also noticed that you seemed to have stepped it up a bit. New rig? Joe, I thought you were going to be slowing down! I hope you haven't yet cause you are still pulling away from me. Guess I'm going to have to dig up some more computers if I'm ever going to catch you. | ||

| Apex Techie Wannabe | I hope to add a few rigs Tuesday, so I'm hoping for top 10 in the next week or so. I need to grab a KVM switch also.I love the entire folding concept. Fun competition for a great cause. All it costs is electricity! Every bit of power helps. Grab those old p200's, drop linux on em and let em roll. BTW If anyone knows how to get folding to run on linux as like a service in the background automatically let me know. Addmitedly though I haven't searched for how to do that. | |

| Yey i got a nice new cpu today, an Athlon xp 2000 to replace my trusty Duron 800 which has folded well for me. (got me to 53rd place, not too shabby for a comp that isn't on 24/7) so i may be able to catch some of the leaders, lol wen i get a few more rigs! (not for a while!) | ||

| I've been folding for about 3-4 weeks now and am really enjoying trying to climb the ladder. One problem though, my folding icon is no longer in my systray. This is a real bother because I used it too pause work and check out the team statistics. Anybody know what I can do too get it back? | ||

| I have the same problem sometimes.when I reboot it comes back.It still runs in the backround.you can allways go thrue the web site http://folding.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/teampage?q=596 or just click the link on the top of every PR page label'd foldingteam. EDIT: you can also close in task manager and just restart the program.sorry brain fart, never really worried about the icon. Last edited by Lokie; 31-December-02 at 10:20 PM.. | ||
