Well that just ruined my day hearing somthing else that congress did that was stoopid to screw over Vets, or speshally retired vets, even more so it pisses me off everytime they vote Yes on a pay raise for themselves , but this is not what this posts is about oh well,

ever since my weekend of PC terror a couple weeks ago, my folding slot has drifted south and seems to be hovering at 12. I was 9th for a while. I cant seem to convince any of my friends to let me fold on their PC's. sucks. Maybe I will be able to get it installed on my sister-in-law's new 2 gig P4 DELL Laptop she is ordering. She wont be connected to the internet a lot tho, what would be the setup method best for her machine?

Yeah, then Ihave this friend in orlando who has 4 linux boxes on his desk in his room andhe wont install it. says he is using his machines for SETI. I told him seti sucks, but he wont listen, lol. I'll never get anywhere with 2 PC's!!!!

I keep telling my budz that folding is safe and won't screw up their PC but most are scared of it. And these guys are mostly network technicians. This very same crowd doesn't have a problem logging onto Kazaa or Morpheus. Go figure.

Have a few computers online already... I am moving them all over from United Devices. Be watching for Goozle to generate some serious points in the near future!

BTW- Who here has the most machines folding on their name? and how many?

I would imagine Joe or myself have the most. I got a bunch of POS PII and PIII running and a couple decent machines. I reckon around 14 or so.

Damion, the high CPU usage doesn't bother anything, the only time you'll want to pause or suspend F@H is during gameplay or benchmarking. Glad to see you on board.

Joe...Holy Crap! No wonder I can't catch you. Let me see, I have:

1 x 2200+
1 x TBird 1.4
2 x PIII 800 mobile
1 x P4 1.6
2 x PIII 1.0
5 x PIII 600
2 x PII 300
and a couple various P-whatever's I mess with now and then.

It's all those AMD's that you have that keep you up front. Man, ain't no way my Intel's can compete with those.

Yeah, I started with [H] but immediately switched to PR as soon as Scapegoat got the team together. What bothers me is the one computer that is still folding for "unknown". Got over 50 points on it already. I checked all my systems and they are good.

It was either a rig I was messing around and loaded folding to check CPU stability or someone else used my name. I don't mind, you can all use my name to fold.

I am suprised that I have only been folding for less than 24 hrs and I am up to 80th or better in PR. Once I get some more cpu's in it maybe I can start really movin. Funny how helping humanity can still have a competitive side!LOL

My list of rigs

1. xp2000 oc 1.7
2. athlon 1.4
3. p4 2.0
4. mobile athlon 1.2
5. duron 1.4

I have steped into 7th place

took me three months to get these rigs runnin and when i go home to vegas there will be another to the list. Get joe right in his backyard hehehehe

2x P4 1.4ish
1x P4 2.4

A few of those arent up yet and I could be wrong on how many and the speed.... I loose track of them all! I may be adding another athlon 1.2Ghz and 3 or so P4 2.4+'s.

That's a lot of horsepower Goozle, but you won't catch Joe. You need more AMD, they love to eat WU's for breakfast. My 1.4 TBird smokes the P4 1.6 at almost 2 to 1.

But you definitely can get into the top 5 with those rigs.
