just d/l f@h console... but for some reason when i load it up.. trayit doesnt work and will not let me hide it in system tray. but it works for other windows?

Well im as chuffed as two farts in a biscuit tin tonight.

Spent the morning setting up my newly arrived copy of Slackware 10.1, went to work, then came home and started up the F@H console. No probs what so ever.

Gonna be cranking the WUs out shortly, getting ready for some serious 24/7 Linux F@H action

on all 3 of my folding machines.....all of a sudden when they try to sent results of finishd WU's, they wont go thru. says something like "server indicates that digital signal does not match". so ive got like 10 WU's that i cant send in. any ideas anyone?

I searched the FAH forums ( http://forum.folding-community.org/ ) and i found a thread that sounds very similar to the prob your having:

In a nut shell, it sounds as if the user who posted that thread has a hardware problem that is causing corruption of the WU (at which point it is declined by the server).

Read through the thread and see if any of the suggestions work for you (you can find your work log files in the FAH folder).

If none of the suggestions work, try posting on the FAH forums (remember to include computer specs and a copy of the log files).

Since you're seeing the problem on all 3 rigs at the same time, i don't know how on topic that FAH thread will be for you, but it's a start

none of the computers are overclocked. remember this is multible computers. i think something is wrong with the server right now....i redownloaded the console--same problem....

Finished my first WU.. answered my frames/WU question.. working on my second WU. Need to get more systems on line.. a project I'll start working on. Later

I was ready to kick some ass when I put F@H on my family xp 3200+, but after trying for about a half hour to find out why my Mom's Scrabble wasn't working, I found that F@H was the problem. I'll give the "no-nonsense" version a try maybe, but for now it seems like my 3800+ is the only real force team _Sexy_Pants_ has going for it right now.

It's not that bad of a force though

Sexy, i had problems running the graphical Windows client on both my machines, switched to the console only version and it doesn't interfer with anything anymore
