I tried your trick T2, but it DLed the core 65. I had to download the new version and replace that file with the one in the PR version, and did the rest like you said. Now it DLed core 82. Anyway I thought I was messing it up, but I got it now. Hopefully this will help others. Here is a link to get the newest version.

Thanks alot T2! I was very reluctant to mess with things at first (if it ain't broke . . .), but glad I did. Now if I had only caught this 3 days earlier my slower rigs would have been better off. Oh well that brings me to my next topic, guess I need to go elsewhere with it.
