Help! Computer freezes during fullscreen!

Okay, this problem really ticks me off because I can't let my p4 1.6(fastest comp I have) fold. My P3 500 and 933s are doing well, but they get about 3 every week, combined.

But I really want my P4 1.6 to go 24/7 too, but whenever I go into fullscreen mode, I freeze up.

Any suggestions?

(Overheating is not the problem, I never get above 50.)

Simplist solution is to fold with the console version, set it and forget it.

I agree the console ver. rocks! I does not waste cpu time on all of the fuzz that the gui vers. has

And a third vote for the console version. The console version is also reputed to increase your WU output (supposed to run faster). I've never used the GUI so i can't honestly offer you a comparison, but i can offer you this temptation:
Think of ALL of those EXTRA POINTS you could earn with the console ver. (if it does indeed run faster)

I have the GU version on my home PCs simply because I like to check on the status every once in a while - however I put console versions on other peoples PCs that fold for me - no point in adding 1 more icon to their already overstuffed system tray............(l)users think they have to download every free shat program they can get ahold off.....

There is no need to stop it - I read were extensive benchmarks were done and FAH didnt affect ANY program more than 1 FPS give or take. Thats enough just to be a margin of error. I play CS:S all the time with my main machine and FAH going along in the background - you will have no problems and if you do the problem isnt with FAH. Its been rock steady with NO issues the whole time Ive used it, I dont turn it off for anything. Burning DVDS, playing COD, CS:S or NFSU - no problems......ever.
