I got my pc folding again. Its hitting 72c...but oh well.... I guess lol. If anyone wants to donate/sell me a tornado 80mm/Any otehr type of high CFM 80mm fan It would be sweet...

My P4 system does 2 units a day on average and its only on for about 9 hours... if i left it on all the time i could probably get 4-5 done a day. only problem is i'm on dialup and its cant send the units or download new ones without my intervention.. so it would probably spend a good 20% of the time doing nothing.

Kind of sucks now that I'm in college. I used to have three machines folding 24/7 now the other 2 are way too far away for me to really know what they're doing. And I don't have enough room to add a new rig

I had to look cause the title said so.

I don't know what the deal with Podium is. Maybe he traded off to a different team or started his own. We also have a few fellas busy with the military and they are unable to fold. I'm in a long process of moving so I can't keep any of my PCs running 24/7.

I have 5 machines folding right now and Im looking at adding 2 more - does anyone know the impact folding has on a dial up conection - meaing how long does it take to transmit and received the next workunit over dial up?? Also can I set it to do its data transmission at a specified time - I just installed all new 3 GHz HT P4s at the police dept but they are on dial up. They wont care but it cant disrupt there PC usage any - which means it will have to do its workunit upload/download in the middle of the night.

On dial up it isnt that bad the only thing is that you loose time because you have to sign on to send the stuff...kind of stinks i have lost alot of hours while i have been at work and its donr just waiting to be sent.

This is what folding is doing to my computer, it got to 73 at one point!

Need better cooling or this thing is going to burn up!

i have 2x Computers running 24/7, and AMD 2500+ and a 2600+

i will have a third going soon once i figure out how to use the linux version of FH folding.. (p3 700Mhz)

might add an old laptop too, the screen is broken so I will see if I can plug a CRT into it and make it work, and just leave it on all the time and let it do its thing

I've been folding like 24/7, though I just recently joined pimprig. I get 1000-1500 points a week easily.

When does my sig update? cause I turned in a 311 point one today, I have over 400 points now for pimprig. I checked stats on Extreme overclockers and stanford, and they both have the new score.........not my sig though.
