Default Whos got the biggest badest proteining in folding?

Currently my record stands at the 2500000 mark. I dread to think how long its gonna take, but it will get there....eventually. Anyone else had some intrestingly large beef stake sized proteins yet? Or names of proteins?

I was just wondering, what factors determine how fast you fold? Is it just CPU speed?

The number of steps doesn't matter. It's just how many chunks that the system breaks it down to for work. So, theoretically the system might have a gargantuan protein that it can only break up into 50 chunks to work with. The point value found at the stanford site, and project update, I believe then check the point value of the protein you're folding. That's the important number.

yeh cpu speed is the main factor, I presume that an AMD64 or Dual processing (ie dual opteron) will gain further folding performance. The program itself uses 15mb of virtual memory according to Task Managers Process viewer, so ram aint a problem. Downloading and uploading only takes a few seconds even on dial up, so again this isnt a factor. Graphics? Well I guess a good iron-clad class TNT PCI card will do, that or an ISA Trident card circa 1992.

Well, I'm going to switch to pimp rig, since I sometimes post here, versus rage3d. I'm ranked under 200 on there team.

Largest unit, I've gotten a few for 320 points, took a bit over 24 hours, this depends on wether I push my mobile to 2.2 or 2.6ghz. Though, this week has been one of my highest at 1500+ points.
