Time for the more details on the F@H Campaign, so here is Part II.  Now that we know who is folding, we now need to start to spread the word.

    The first piece of information I have for you is a press release.  This document can and should be used to try to get F@H in the news (TV, Newpaper, etc.)  If we all try sending a copy of this document to our located news station and newspaper we should be able to get F@H some public attention.  If you come up with other ideas or other versions of a press release please let me know and I will add it to this list.

    Also, we have had F@H business cards developed as well.  This are great to hand out to different people that you meet daily.  They also work great to put on bulliten boards and such public information areas.  If you come up with other designs then please let me know and I will add them to this list.

    What we need is if anyone has any other designs to please let me know so that we can have them added to the list.  Once we have some designs we can vote on which design to have printed up.  Lokies_mom had a whole bunch of actual business cards made from the original design, and I am absolutely sure she would love to run up a second as well.  So if you have designs submit them please so that they can be added. At the end of this week (?Sun, Oct. 3?) we will hold a vote for which design(s) to have printed up.

    Once we have a design we can start passing the cards out.  Cards will be passed out by Lokies_mom, so unless she says otherwise once we have the cards printed all you will need to do is to PM her your address and she will send you about 30 - 40 cards (more if you request more.)  Lokies_mom also keeps a list of who is folding so that you can get the F@H icon added under your name.  If you start folding then please PM here or post so that she can make sure you get your rewards for folding!

    Finally, last but not least, if you have any other ideas thoughts or concerns about F@H or the F@H Campaign then please just send me a PM and I will be more then happy to assist you and/or answer your questions/concerns.

What's with you and coke?

I got some changes fer ya.

1. When people join and they get the welcome to pimprig put some folding propaganda on there. It gets em right into the participation spirit.
2. Update the folding page with the newest F@H console, I think it's more efficient.

Edit: Make a big list of the people and put the folding icon's next to their name. that way we can encourage the people that don't have one (I like lists)

I do make lists and as soon as I get five or six people on the list I PM GK with it.. So far only two pimps need a icon....Rob and nev_payne. So if I overlooked you and you are folding please let me know !!

Sorry, I was folding but now I'm not. The heat was simply too much for my computer to take non-stop. I am at 36C idle and about 40C under full load, but while running F@H, my rig was climbing all the way up to 46C. Nothing else on my computer has ever made it run over 42C...even when I was converting CD's on both of my drives at the same time.

While I still want to use my cpu cycles for something productive, I've switced over to Seti@home and now when running cpu cycles, it maxes my temps out at 40C.

Again, sorry, but I'm not leaving my pc to run 10C degrees hotter when I'm not on it.

this is a great idea! i'm having some diffuculties though:
i can't get PR's press release or the original bus. card to open (the link opens a window, but nothing loads...ever).

1. I will work with mom to find out what we can put together as a "Welcome" package to send out to new members.
2. I will also PM GlitterKill to find out what needs to happen to have the current program link updated.

I added a note to those items with links to the original posts as the files seem to open fine from the original posts.
