disable shutdown of f@h?

i put folding on a bunch of computers that have multiple users but some fool keeps closing the program. any way of making it so you can't close the prog? i'm using the version distributed by the stanford folding website

Use the console version, there wont be any program to close that way - it will run as a servce. No icon = out of sight and out of mind. I believe the console version also provides a speed increase as well.......

depends on the version of windows on each pc and your admin abilities, but you might be able to adjust the permissions to disable the other users from closing it..

i tried the version that's hosted by pimprig and it left a bar on the bottom of the screen that other people would most likely close. you got a link to an installer for the console version?

Try below - its the "no nonsense text version" about 3 or 4 down.....

Just follow the instructions, reboot and then you can see it when you pull up the task manager but thats it.
