| Will a computer with more memory fold faster? Likewise, if I build a P3 1 ghz with SDRAM, one with RAMBUS (my Dell Optiplex GX200 has it) and one with DDR (it is possible, Tiger has some DDR Pentium 3 motherboards), will one fold faster than the other? Does memory even make a difference in Folding? say a 128 or 256mb rig vs. a 1 gb rig? I'm building a small Folding server farm and trying to keep the cost to a minimum, the setup is a bunch of compact mATX systems stacked on top of each other and accessed through VNC on my network. I have plenty of cases and parts, just need some boards and RAM. | ||
