Default F@H memory question

Will a computer with more memory fold faster? Likewise, if I build a P3 1 ghz with SDRAM, one with RAMBUS (my Dell Optiplex GX200 has it) and one with DDR (it is possible, Tiger has some DDR Pentium 3 motherboards), will one fold faster than the other? Does memory even make a difference in Folding? say a 128 or 256mb rig vs. a 1 gb rig? I'm building a small Folding server farm and trying to keep the cost to a minimum, the setup is a bunch of compact mATX systems stacked on top of each other and accessed through VNC on my network. I have plenty of cases and parts, just need some boards and RAM.

F@H purely needs CPU power. Ram won't make a differnece, unless there isn't enough ram for it to download the next unit, and for that, you need less than 64MB.

Folding uses around 28 MB of RAM, at least currently using the Gromacs (79) core.

To answer your original question, no it won't help.
