| My Halflife server is acting up. I recently upgraded a bunch of hardware, from Celeron 466's to 533's, more HDD's, an ATA33 RAID controller card, well, here's the full spec sheet.... Abit BP6 400w A-Power PSU Dual Celeron 533MHz 632mb RAM (2x 256, 1x 128) ATi Rage Pro Turbo 8mb 3.2 gig Seagate primary 1 gig WD server HDD 2x WD 4gb HDD's Promise ATA 33 Ultra RAID controller w/CD-ROM hooked up to it 3Com 3C450 10/100 LAN SB Vibra 16 ISA XP Pro SP1 I know that everytime you change your CPU speed or amount of RAM, F@H benchmarks and sees the speed change and resets the core and starts from the beginning. Well, a deadline (May 28) passed and every time it starts up, it says 'deadline passed, yada yada yada' and DL's the new core. If I have to restart the PC, it restarts, fires up again, and says the deadline has passed yada yada yada and DL's another core. It does this on both processors, since there is on program for each chip, with one set to Machine ID 1 and the other to Machine ID 2. WTF is up with this? | ||
