| Incognit - Hoe | Is there a way to have a computer folding without the systray icon? i want to get it on my roomie's computer but i don't think she needs to know about it doesn't know anyhing about computers and would be a pain in the arse to try to explain that it isn't hurting anything and she'll never know it's there...all for the good of the team

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Although I disagree with "Borging" without a users permission (Can't you just ask?), there's plenty of other reasons to run Folding@Home as a service. There's several methods described in this thread: http://pub116.ezboard.com/fcompuforu...icID=926.topic

Actually there's an easier way to do it right here. It asks you for the parameters, and sets it all up for you essentially. Has the bonus of running no matter which user is logged in, even works with nobody logged in. Haven't had a single problem with it yet, and it's on 8 of my machines.

| Banned | This one is the easiest, you go through the installer and simply select the FAH program path, and it works as a service from there on out. Excellent. |
