Think about it, an old Socket A runs around 200 PPD, a 3850 video card doubles that, plus you can run CPU folding at the same time. I have retired all my socket A stuff. I still have my little Dell 1.49MHz Folding because I want to see how long it will last. And it is just funny to me. Poor little thing gets around 150 PPD...

Yes boss, I just turned on my 8600GT a couple of days ago. I even decided to turn on a couple of SMP boxes. I hope they help you out.

I single 8800gt should turn roughly 2200ppd coupled with the Q6600 I have in this machine and I am getting right around 4000ppd for one computer.

All you guys that have dual/quad core cpus should run smp folding. Much better points, more work accomplished.
If you have an 8 or 9 series Nvidia video card you can now gpu fold also. You can run the gpu2 and smp at the same time and get mad points. I know the ati cards do good also, I just don't have any at the moment and don't know what series cards work with it.

I have 3 computers folding and I turned in over 9000 points today. It can be done without huge rooms of equipment, you just gotta give it a try and go for it.

Oh, we are bringing it. QX6850 came online yesterday with my 8800GTX that has been running. We are bringing it to the tune of 26,680 ppd (as of right now) more than Team Pimp Rig. You know what that means? In 3.2 months Team GruntvillE will pass you. That's right folks, just about 13 weeks from now.....

Ok i have tried to get the folding program to work and i have not had much sucess yet i have my dualcore amd now so can someone maybe guide me into what i might be doing wrong forsomereason it never starts idk yet im gonna try again and get it going.
