Default F@H crashing ?

I have resently started getting alot of errors( 4 to 5 daily) related to the F@H core. Windows is giving me one of the famous program error shutdown messages. And wouldn't you figure it did it while I'm typing this so I'm sending the screenshot also. I haven't changed anything with my machine in weeks and don't know what would be causeing this. I'm running folding client version 4 with the FAHcore_65.exe core. I tried searching stanfords site and didn't come up with any answers to this one. Thanks for any help you guys can give on this one.

Are you running the new beta 3.25? If not you need to due to the fact that its aimed for us amd users. You can find it here. This fixed my problem, but if you already have it then id suggest totally uninstalling the prog and reinstalling.

Ttry shuting down F@H, then deleting the core files, and restarting F@H. It will automatically find and install the latest core file. Stanford recomemnds doing that from time to time as they periodically optimize the core files. Maybe that will help.

Seems they have incorporated the new core into the latest download version. Your link doesn't have the download on it any more. I just reinstalled everything and it's running now with the updated core. Hopefully now it won't give me so much grief. Thanks for the help.

Well it's doing it again. I can see this is gonna be a long day. Well I tried initially to just reinstall the GUI version 4 after completely unistalling the old version. 15 minutes later I get another fault message. So I took Estwingman's advice and just deleted the Fahcore_65.exe file. restart app and it downloads the new core. Seems good but it turns out to be the same thing, Fahcore_65.exe. Every 30 minutes to an hour I recieve that fault message again and windows closes the core. I tried un-overclocking everything back to stock and that doesn't help anything. Only my AMD machine does this which is anoying because it is the faster of the two. thanks for any other hints you guys can come up with.

I think I may have figured things out. I found that when I turn off the Nvidia media center icon in my taskbar the problem goes away. I have been running for 3 days now with no problems. I installed the new omega drives for my card about a week ago. On the 3rd I turned on that media center to do some overclocking work. The problems started sunday morning and I never put 2+2 together till today. what a headache.
