so i finally turned on folding at home for the first time in quite sometime...i never had it on cause when i play games with it running the games always minimize ??!!?

but anyways i decidede just screw it and left it run.........its been running for like 2 days now and not a sigle WU got completed...im like wtf...i look at the log and it looks like it keeps dropping WU's and start new ones...i counted them up and it looks like it does about 30% of WU, drops it and downloads new one....

Is there a way to stop this and just have it work on a WU untill its done and then start another one?

and stop games from minimizing maybe? lol

i tried to search throught the mother folding thread buts nothing came up..

I had the same type of issue - I just reinstalled it and it worked fine.

On another system that I had an issue of it wouldn't go further then loading the program - I deleted the core from the system and it just downloaded a new core and worked fine.

As for the minimizing the other programs - I use TweakUI to not allow other programs to take (steal) focus of any app I am currently using. Hasn't let me down yet!

Have you fiddled with your system clock or calendar lately? Or it might just be that it's the unit it was working on before you shut it down before the break, and it took a while to realise it had expired.

Does your system fold 24/7? It might very well take a few days to complete a unit if it's only on part-time. Keep an eye on the file unitinfo.txt, and see if you're making progress from time to time.

EDIT: The unit at the end of your logfile had about 31 hours left at the time you posted it, check back in on it in a day or so, assuming you leave it folding 24/7, of course.

its not 24/7 my parents r na...i mean they dont let me run puter 24/7

but sometimes it does...so far puter up time 1day, 9 hours, 20 min thats prolly an all time record right there LOL

most of the time it runs about 15 hours a day

nope it's the amount of time your letting it run, what CPU do you have? what clock speeds does it run? with my Barton 2500+ from 1.8 to 2.6 I can get about 3 or 4 gromacs done in that time. Folding loves MHz and not much else. so if your banging on a Tinker that is going to take days to complete even on me barton.
