| I brought my laptop back to Iraq with me, with dual instances of F@H set up on it, sos I could keep the numbers going. same thing for the wife's laptop, she knows how to start the instances up, set affinities, etc. Over here, I have a wireless setup in the squad leader's room, so I can check email and whatnot. F@H downloads the new project cores just fine, but when it comes time to turn around and send results back, I keep getting a failure message, and the work results get saved into the queue. Another weird issue is that the connection icon on my lappy keeps changing from Local and Internet to Local Only every so often, but even on LO, I can still browse and surf and check email. The router is connected wired into a massive hub that's connected into a satellite receiver system (ISPs here are not very trustworthy) Lastly, I can't seem to access the EOC F@H stats page that I bookmarked when I was home, so I can keep track of who I'm sneaking up on, and who I need to worry about. Can anyone possibly help me figure out WTF is going on here? | ||

| If the server's for the WU's your sending in are down, you'll have to wait untill they come back up before being processed. You can check here fahinfo.org Folding @ Home PPD Database | ||

I too had noticed the F@H stats pages as well as the extreme overclocking website do not load for me. Guess you aren't alone there, but my WU's have been coming and going smoothly. I guess you can take a look at the network settings and make certain everything looks OK (computer name, work group, and whatnot). | |||||||||||||||||||||||||

| The error message goes something like: "Could not connect to Work ServerI can open the front page at EOC, but any of the links under the title banner give me a blank page... Yes, I think it may have a little to do with down servers AND with the military "ISP"... Sux | ||

| Both those servers are up but only one is accepting at this time. Heres the correct link to the server page ,sorry about the last one. Folding@Home server status The problem is most likely on your isp 's end | ||

| Bummer... Well, I went back and checked, and one of the instances seems to have gotten a WU through, but it was like the first of the two that it had cached / queued / whatever. The other instance is still trying and failing... I did some diddling with the router this afternoon before I had to roll out on a mission, and I think that upping the router's transmission frequency might have helped, if only just a little bit. We have like 3 or 4 different wireless networks running from the same main server uplink here, and if they are all causing interference with each other, I could see where that would cause a problem... | ||
