Hey everybody, as you all remember Necro sent a letter to etisalat (my isp) to petition the blocking of F@H, but it seems that all of my computers do not want to receive work packets. I do not know why it does not want to work but they must have blocked it again out of consideration and forgot that we did come to them about this issue about a year ago.

Necro help please...

they don't have RR as you mentioned but there is another telco (du) but they also offer the same speed as etisalat...

RR is cable, I have 8mb / 512.

Dubai IS paradise, if I lived there, with the kind of car I drive, I'd have no time for the Internet I'd be too busy carving up your roads.

Ouch man. When I first got to Doha, I had 256kb dl speed. It was horrible. But it's all good now becuase I've got fiber!

Anyways back on topic; I imagine that if you just drop them a copy of the email that necro posted a while back they'll unblock it again. Shouldn't be a problem at all.

Does this mean that you do receive work packets on any computer?

Yup.

I can get up to 400kb through torrents, though most of the time I've got around 200k. My upload speed's ussually around 175-200kb which is quite nice too. No idea who it's through though....

No I don't but if I did say I did sorry on my end but nothing seems to work at the moment so I might have to wait till tommorow to see if secure comp. did anything about it.

If you don't get anywhere, let me know, I'll try them again...if we have to, we can can get the "Gang" to keep bugging the crap out of them till they do!

EDIT: You sure its not FAH or your OS itself? sometimes I have had to reinstall one or both when it won't upload/download properly.
