| Apex Techie I | Hi I have just put together my new pc and am having problems getting the onboard sound to work! The mobo is: Gigabyte GA-M55plus-S3G GIGABYTE - Product - Motherboard - Overview I think this is very much a driver problem...i am aware that there is a driver on the gigabyte website however i have tried this and either i am using it incorrectly or it failed to work...there was also a driver on the cd which came with the mobo but this just brings up the 'Windows Found New Hardware Wizard'. I tired to use this wizard and it searched on the internet for drivers but failed to find any, i made the wizard search the mobo cd (with the driver on it) but it failed to find a suitable driver. I'm outta ideas please help Cheers James oh and the driver i think that im trying to install is called: Microsoft UAA (Universal Audio Architecture) Bus Driver | |

| theres seems to be an issue with this driver and the device stopping unabruptedly .... microsoft had released a "fix" for it but they removed it since 1a, now, your only option is to contact them and ask them for the fix directly .... Universal Audio Architecture (UAA) High Definition Audio class driver available for Windows Server 2003, Windows XP, and Window 2000 | ||
