Default What the hell does this mean?

Heres a s/s of installing my sound drivers.. I cant hear sound and this pops up 3 times on installing the sound driver.
This is for my DFI Lanparty UT nf3 250Gb

Umm not much. Just continue anyway and it should be fine.


Oh and Im not sure on this but I dn if installing mobo drivers will give you sound-- you may need to download the karajan audio drivers specific to your motherboard.

Check and make sure that you've got the Realtek ALC850 soundcard/onboard sound device.

Thats what it should be using but check nonethe less.

wow you really gave up fast, sounds like that ultra d is allready kicking your ass.
you might try reading the manual or going to D street or that Google searchy thingy...

Have you tried a set of headphones,the volume may be too low

I've been trying for a hour, this thing is going to learn how to fly very soon.
the manual didnt help and right now I'll do a google search.
I've try head phones...nothing volume is all the way up.
I'll wait for my dad to look at it but if it doesnt work I'll sent it back and get a Asus board.

Dont give up so easy Killert, thats an excellent board for OC'ing.
The Asus wont let you do everything that one will.

Eh, I'm not planing for to much o/cing intil I get watercooling but Its supose to be my media machine but right now I canreally do much except surf the web.

Is the sound card selected properly in the control panel? If you have built in as well as another sound card you may need to select the correct one.

EDIT: yes, it is

When I plug my speakers in I get static and its loud...Even if I mute it on the computer.

so what are you using windows 98 then? ive only sen the option like twice to use fat 32 on all the installs i have done. and then again--why would you use fat32?? NTFS is alot more stable.....just hardly ever seen anyone use it.....

I had to use 98 for my upgrade to XP
Does anyone kno the how to convert it to ntfs?
