doesnt detect my audigy 2

Well, I've got my audigy 2 sitting here, not in my pc

I recently got my DFI Ultra-D in the other day, everythings oc'd working fine. My card came with a CD that has the drivers and creatives mediasource, which is what I use to configure my card. Unfortunately, I lost the CD, so I was stuck with regular drivers.

Turns out the CD was at a freinds, he brought it over today, I installed, but it wouldnt detect my card for some reason, despite the fact that I had been using it already for the past 2 weeks.

I would uninstall all the old drivers and software, reinstall the card and go from there. Also some times moving the card to a different pci slot will make windows see it again, and then you can move it back. i have had to do that with my Audigy before. Good luck!

If im understanding you , the card WAS IN and working , then you tryed to use different drivers for it and it wouldnt detect the card?

If thats the case , clean out ALL old drives and every trace of the card from your system then reinstall the card using the CD , see if that works.
