Exclamation Sound Card & Speakers Recommendations.

I am looking into buying a new Sound Card & a New set of Speakers. I was looking to find out what setups people have had good luck with and what to steer clear of.
Currently the Sound Card I am looking at is:
http://www.ncix.com/products/index.p...reative%20Labs
and for speakers

http://www.ncix.com/products/index.p...cture=Logitech

I have heard good reviews on the speakers but i forsee a bit of an issue with the power only being 70W RMS,140W Is that really enough power to get good quality sound? Or is it better to go with something that has a bit more push like http://www.ncix.com/products/index.p...cture=Logitech which has 280W, 560W.

Does anyone have any recomendations or feedback on their current setups?
Any input would be helpfull!

If you have the money I would suggest going with an creative Xfi and the logitech z5500 speakers. I believe that would give you the best sound possible.

Absolutely. I've got an X-Fi/Logi Z-680 combo and it sounds great. I am not a huge fan of the Creative software, but the sound is excellent.`

X-fi cards rock. I like having my pc wired into my bang & Olfsen stereo, over 10,000 watts of carver tube amp power, sorround sound never had it so good!

I happen to have both the Z-5300's and a soundblaster X-FI, and the sound quality from this combo is incredible. They may not sound as good as, say, the Klipsch Pro Media series, they still have smooth mids, ear-tickling highs, and punchy bass for half the price. Being a bit of an audiophile, I was suprised as to how good they sounded.
