| I've been thinking about getting a new sound card for my computer and I really want one that has a cd drive external box so I can easily plug in my headphones without having to stretch the cord across the desk, so if anyone could give me some ideas for a sound card that has the front attachment and is reasonably that would be greatly appreciated. | ||

| do you have a front I/O panel on your case? if anything id suggest going to radi-hoe shack and pickin up a stereo extender, make sure you tell them that you want to extend your headphones..... you could get an adudigy sound card and get the front box that fits into a cdrom bay | ||

| So I looked into the Extigy and it seems pretty cool and basically in the price range i'm looking for, but I was wondering if anyone has any experience with it and could say whether it's really good or bad (i.e. like when used for gaming sound vs. just playing mp3's and such with WMP). And also if there's anywhere you can actually buy one new? | ||
