Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS External Hub Problem

Hello.

I am running a P4 with 2.4 GHz, 512 MB RAM, Windows XP (No SP). I went to record a gig one time with my computer using the Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS including its external hub. After the gig was over, I hooked my computer up at home. The sound card was working as I was able to plug in computer speakers in the back and I get sound out of those. However, my External hub does not power on when I turn on the computer (as it is supposed to do so regularly). This is distressing me, because i opened my computer and found nothing wrong with the connection and cannot open the hub for warranty concerns. I use this card as a part of my home recording studio (very humble, I know) and must plan if I should shell out for a more professional system and card eventually.

Have you tried attaching it in another port? another PC?

Just some things to try

Uninstall/reinstall drivers
Uninstall all Audio parts , clean and reinstall
Check to see if its getting power ( Multi-meter )

If I remember right the front head unit is powered by the same type of plug as a floppy correct ? if so , try using a different power conn. ** I could be WAY off on this , as I havent even seen one of these in years ***
