Ok, so I've been talkin to a girl, I'll call her by her nickname, Cocoa. I spend quite a bit of time around her, and her the same.

I'm really interested, and she actually seems interested in the things I have to say.

With that out of the way.

Our schools Homecoming is commin up soon, October 14th, and I was going to ask her as my date .

She did however mention that a couple of guys have asked her, but she has told them no, on account fo the fact that the dance is a bit far off.

Ok, here's the question, I want to ask her, but when should I?

Two things worry me:

#1. Someone else will ask her.
#2. She'll say no.

Just keep hanging out with her and pop the question one day. She might have said no so that you could ask her if you really think shes intrested

If she says no just brush it off (I do), there are many more fish in the sea. To question A, this is a reason why you should get to her first. You should try to incorporate it somehow in your regular conversations, Ie, "Homecoming is coming up, are you going with anyone?, Cause you know, I have no one to go with." Its a bit lame and a bit cliché but its the best I can suggest, you get the idea right?

Adding that would guarantee you 2 things, 1) if she was going with someone 2) a chance to ask it. If that dont work, try the direct approach.

She Did Bring the subject up to/with you. she may be waiting for you to ask her.
The worst thing she can say is no. and if she does let her explain why and try to relate it makes it a lot less uneasy. normally she is ether expecting you to ask or will be surprised you asked and will give it a shot. In the end it is up to you, Good luck

O.K., this is me holding a HUGE sign saying, "ASK HER OUT NOW!!!"

I don't know of a bigger hint that girl could give to a guy when they say that other guys have asked them to a dance but they turned them down.

She telling you in "girl-speak" that she's turned them down because she's wanting you to ask her.

If you don't ask her soon, she's going to take the next guy that does ask her out of spite towards you.

If you don't ask now and the next guy does she may say yes to him just to get a seat on the front row.

Ask now. And if she does say no then you still have time to ask all of the other fish in the sea.

And if she says yes then you have more time to save up lots of $$$.

Last time I took a girl out to eat was with a couple freinds, mostly becuase I'm more comfortable and more of myself around them. Then my ex decided to show up with her new bf and F everything up.

She is waiting for you to ask her.That is why she told you about the other invitations that she turned down.

I would just go ahead and ask her if she says yes then your all set if she says no just stay friends with here look at this way there is no harm in asking, i remember there is a saying there is always plenty of fish in the sea to have and waiting for your call.
Ps take her out to super and a movie along that line then ask her i would ask her at super time oh i for got to mention if you really like to get her attention bring her some flowers.

You mean to tell me that Homecoming is used for something besides soldiers and football?
