Its hard to say i hate to admit it, but im really no different from most folk (i think) -change is strange.. Lifes been different. I wasnt around here much (if) at all the last few months, my stepdad's friend offered me a job at a
decent place, so quite naturally, I was all in. After gettin the job tho, i've barely had time to hang with my friends but being busy has been some sort of a new kind of friend in the end. (however that goes..) Anyhow,
The Great Chai (See sig below
-TBR [to be replaced]) -my main desktop had gained an awful set of NTFS filesystem errors since my late January format and it was time to backup. Maybe it (the need for a new hard drive) was just the best reason I could find to spend my skrill at the time, if not only to piss and smoke it all away.
Back to tha issues with NTFS>> bad sectors and offline reallocated sectors seemed a warrant enough, but like shopping at the store on an empty stomach I ended up splurgin a bit.. I put together a backup rig comprised of a Celly D 2.8 I'd seen for $53 and simply couldn't resist and my old XMS & ASRock
MB. Thing matched my main rig after a lovely 733MHz air
oc. I ended up lazing a bit and just threw some good ol patriot DDR500 in the P4 tho it barely seems to run any better than the XMs400 did.. Something incredibly awsome happened last month when AMD slashed their X2 prices in half - just like rumor had it. Much to my suprise I'd secured my base
AM2 system for less than a third (of the $1500) that deliberately-debatable Dell Dimension had cost two and a half years back.
The Great Chai was definitely built a shady and un-cleancut character after the quasi-famous villain from Sega's Shenmue Series. My latest work though is elegant in its simplicity, aiming to be a rather lan-tastic -errm- I mean tiny at 13"x11"x9" (-perhaps imagine a gamecubish-height xbox) so alright, its not tiny, but lord-damned small - infact coincidentally I've come to call her shortly too:
GEM (my initials - for lack of a better explanation). Now the onboard video - powerful as it seemed (somehow suprising to me still) just isn't gonna help any processor much in running a real game, so I ordered an AIW x1900 that should be here tomarrow

.. Not real gaming-powerful, but with 48 shaders and ESPECIALLY the remote, its captivated my 'coon eye.> Whats more,
a shiny bracket!
-and IMO like the best booty in the end, - its
gold!!

cold blooded like Rick James..
