Mice

Well..my cat caught a mouse, problem is when I picked her up (I thought she had dust in her mouth...) The mouse dropped on my hand. I dont know if the scratch I have is from the mouse or her. Our cat is an Inside cat, she goes up my my celeing..and she came out with this..

Should I be worried about rabieze or other diseases for myself and my cat?

The mouse is pretty small...we dont know if there is a mother or if there are others...Im keeping the mouse just in case its needed for testing for rabieze or other things..

The chances of rabiez is slim , just clean the cut with alcohol ** OUCH** and it should be fine, at most it will probably just swell up a bit and git a bit of puss in it , if it was the mouse. If it was the cat, then your fine. Hasent the cat ever scratched you before ??

** If you are worried, you can take the mouse to the vet or hospital and they will run tests. Same thing they do when ya get bit by snakes, and catch the snake that bit ya.

Yea Ive been scratched by her before, usualy If I dont handle it with rubbing alcohol or peroxide, it becomes itchy. It/She did draw Blood though.
