Samurai Update

Hey Ya'll,

Still don't know when I'll get my internet connection back up at the new place... and work kind of frowns on me using my connection at work, so I'm doing this at lunch and makin' it quick!

Anyway... my Dad had a stroke last week. Ambulance took him to the hospital... he's starting to recover, and now they think he may have a tumor deep in his brain (inoperable)...

I've been amassing so much overtime at work, that they've been on me about it... not much I can do, unless they can outfit the company truck with a jet engine (or at least remove the frigging governing system.. 65 miles an hour... I feel so... dirty!)

Between work and home, I haven't had much time to write here...

Still, I just figured I'd pop my head up and say "hi"... I'm probably a month or so away from internet. I have to get my first round of bills in at the new place before I know what I can afford to do.

ADD: When the hell did we become PCAPEX?!? What happened to PR?!?!?

Well, they now think my father is going to need surgery on his neck due to blockages...

Then they want to cut him open and fix his heart valve for his sleep apnea...

Christ, getting old seems to be a friggin' sickening fight for survival...

Anyway... working heavy hours at work, a lot going on...

Getting the internet next month I think. I gotta catch up this months bills, and then it's looking good for it, if all else goes as planned.

I've decided to keep my damn car, as it's not profitable to trade it in right now, and it needs work... so I couldn't sell it to anyone in the shape it's in right now...

Amazing how a lot of small things equal a lot of headaches...

I'm thinking next month, I'm replacing the rear wiper motor... the next deal is the front window wiper sprayer pump... the month after, I gotta fix the trim pieces on the doors as they've decided to come apart.

Then I gotta figure out how to get the 60K tune done... I'm at 70K and it's startin' to worry me...

After that, I'm wondering just how freakin' hard it is to do a rebuild on a transmission... mine seems to not like going into second these days...

Anyway... I'll be on as soon as I can. Peace out...

Darksamurai, good luck to your father hope everything turns out ok for him and a speedy recovery. My best wishes and prayers go out to your father.
