pissed over another site

ok, well, I'll explain.. a few years ago I got my first real pc (Commodor 64 don't qualify)
an Emachine model P.O.S. lol.
after playing with that for a year or 2 I found a site called Creative Mods. I decided after seeing all the stuff u can do to a pc I'd try building my own. With the help of my friens at CM. I put together a decent system and built my own case from scratch. (Diamond plate toolbox in work log there)
After about a year of interacting on the site, just being my self...making tactfull replies to innapropriate comments and helping people when I could (Ilearned ALOT about pc's in the mean time)
I was made a moderator (still am I think "Executioner") well that was like a high point in my life to have an important role like that enjoying my hobby playin with pc's.
After only a few short months a problem developed with the site,All moderators lost thier moderating abilities. Well after a very few assertions from the site owner that all would be fixed after college finals
(back in Oct.) nothing was done and still have yet to hear from him. I sent many emails and such with no reply. It's disheartening because in the time I grew with the site,so did the site. now there are blatant spam,gay porn links and flaming going on unchecked and I am totaly powerless to stop it.
It's not my site but in a way I feel responsible to keep it runing right for all the people who helped me and for other visitors.
In my frustration and need to interact with other people interested in pc modding I came here.
Now that being said I think eventhou I would like to keep the "status" of being a moderator, I'm going to delete my desktop link to Creative Mods and start anew here at Pimp Rig.
I don't hold any hopes of becoming a moderator here due to the fact that the site is VERY well managed and has a very good staff supporting it. I'll just be my self and hope to make new friends and possibly bring a few from CM.

btw just to keep hope alive, I know I have to re earn my respect in your society. I am always willing to help in any way I can.
And as a side note: I look at posting,chatting online the same way as if I were standing next to the person I am responding to, we all have feelings and get offended and have self pride and feel pity and remorse, and most importantly , deserve respect!! I feel if you give someone respect wether or not they deserve it ,they may eventualy realize that respect is a rare commodity and should be shared and cherished. If anyone ever reads something I typed on this site and thinks I was being disrespectfull, reread the post as if I were standing next to you and saying it rather than typing it. I type like I talk. no B.S.

We always select one of our members for those esteemed positions, and only those who show maturity, have a level head, and dedication to our site. OK, that isn't why I was picked but everyone else met those qualities. All members have potential to become staff.

As it would seem even thou it has taken since Oct. aparantly spOom from CM
WAS indeed still taking finals, and has fixed the site

I guess I overreacted

well I'm only human.
And big enough to admit I owe an apology to anyone who may have been offended.
I'm not going to run away back to CM cause I like PR and still have alot of folding to do.
I'll be resuming my work log after the holidays. And be posting updates.
