Go to the Phoenix Fry's Electronics, drop by the Service repair center and ask for Hunter... I work nights, so usually I'm there after about noon.

| Sam-Hoe-rai N-Hoe-mad | Hmmm, work sucked, but the girl from work I've been talkin' to wants me to call her tonight, and we have a date tomorrow... She's also gettin' used to being around me, so it's starting to get good. She's been exposed to my personality, and she hasn't run screaming into the night... I'm thrilled! Also, if it doesn't work out, this girl who goes past beautiful into exotic has been smiling and giving me indications she likes me (which stokes the ol' ego, but I wanna see if it works with the girl I'm seeing now first, as I know she's cool with me)... I also got to cut loose a bit at my martial arts class last night, and I worked one of those punching dummies over 'til my fists and feet were bleeding... life seemed a great deal better today! I no longer feel like I want to kill people, balance has been restored. We're getting a new guy in our department, knocking the work load back down a bit (although I'm nervous about the competition, I'm thinking It'll be cool to not have to work quite so hard). Only problem I have now is he's kind of known to be a little bit of an inside-narc (I like the guy okay, I've known him for awhile)... so I'm going to have to watch my ass a bit closer, but it's still cool!

| Sam-Hoe-rai N-Hoe-mad | That girl I decided to ask out... we've been talking on the phone a lot (Out of the last day and a half , I've talked to her for roughly 10 hours)... We never got together today (damn those family-things are annoying)... but we're getting along REALLY well. Also, I got fitted for contact lenses (guess my prescription is a special-order deal), so I should be tossin' these frames in a drawer here pretty soon... I'm thinking I want to buy a pair of sunglasses off the rack and drive around... that'd be awesome. I've never been able to do that. On top of that, I got my damn holiday shopping nearly completed, I watched Invader Zim, ate some Taco Bell Tacos (hard-shell chicken tacos... DAMN tasty), and I learned how to do several new moves at class tonight 'cause the holidays are comin' up and nobody showed up... so it was me and people like three belts above me... I'm sore as hell, but I had a helluva good time. Also, they went over the prerequisites to my next belt level, and I passed almost every test they gave me. I'm looking forward to the actual test. All in all... I'd have to say I had a pretty decent day.

| Mystical Schwinn Guru | *plays Ice Cube - "Today Was A Good Day* Picked up this 2nd job at a computer shop, and it has been going great, not only did I score a free Athlon 950 and an insane deal on a 68' Rambler from the owner but some girl walked in while I was moonwalking across the floor from system to system and we started talking and she gave me her number. Free processor, insanely cheap hot rod and ch1x0rz number, it just doesn't get any better. And none of this happened on my Sting-Ray! |

| Mystical Schwinn Guru | Man life is so f*cking great, I have a shot at two jobs with good pay, one is a bump to Surface Mount at my current job and the other is as an Arcitectural AutoCAD draftsman. Took the day off my first job so I'm just breezin', workin' on my resume for the CAD position, got a woman that loves me with a love so tender words can't describe it, and I got money in the bank, from two different jobs. Full tank of gas, and my laptop controls the audio system in a car that is quickly becoming a classic, which has 2x 12" 700w subwoofers I'm picking up tomorrow from a co-worker for 150 bucks. Everything is paid off. Life is abso-f*ckin-lutely beautiful. |

| Mystical Schwinn Guru | My laptop survived a 4-foot drop off the top of my car at the LAN party. The LAN was at lilbowser's house, there was like 5 of us there. He lives in a gated community that locks the doors at dark, and since for some reason his passcode doesn't work, the only way to get in is to have a remote that opens the door or have a large metal object (like another car) trip the sensor from the inside. We had neither, but I did have my Dell C610 with Wi-Fi capabilities, and I used them to my advantage to sign on MSN Messenger to IM lilbowser to tell him to come trip the sensor with his car, until I realized it would be much faster to follow this car coming in through the gate. So I closed my laptop and sprinted like a cheetah across the street to my car. Put the laptop on the roof of the car, hopped in Bo Duke style since the window was down, started the car and peeled out forgetting the laptop was on the roof of the car. Didn't make it to the gate and realized my laptop flew off. Oh sh*t. Go back and survey the damage, a couple scratches, LCD looks fine, let's fire it up, boots into Windows just fine. If that isn't a good day I don't know what is. |

| PCApex Review Editor | J-Dogg, I can soooooo relate! A few years ago, my old beast took what looked to be a fatal spill just before a weekly Quake-a-thon . . . Was carrying it in to the Cafe where we set up . . . someone nudged by by accident, and down she went . . . landed on one of the front corners, and bounced nearly back up into my arms. I snagged her enough to slow the second fall . . . My heart was racing like mad . . . All I can say is Gateway used to make their cases to take one HELL of a beating, as only about 2 cm's total of plastic got warped . . . and there was absolutely NO damage to the HDD. Can't remember how I did at the actual gaming, but the pc surviving set the mood for a good night, that's for sure. |

| Apex Master Tech Apprentice | Very tight J - glad to hear you have a woman in your life keepin you happy, a nice car to make you happier, and private lan parties to top it off Now, a good day for me would be: #1 - a day where I stop procrastinating, I beat myself up in my mind for it everyday. #2 - where I am productive. those are the two things others want from me, and that is what I need to do! |

Did the same thing once when i was in a hurry. Left my HP on my roof of my supra. gunned it from the parkade, smashed into a pillar before hitting the ground. CDRW/DVD drive popped open but that was it. Laptops are actually pretty strong. hehe. The thing was actually on at the time and the HDD didnt have damage. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
