So Ive been searching through the papers and about a week ago I found the perfect Job, a PC Installation Tech. I landed an interview a couple days later (the guy said I was "shortlisted") Anyhoo, The interview went great, the guy said he really liked me, and would consider me before a person who had 10 years of experience. He offered me (I cant remember which.. either 32k or 3200... Which either or is still alot of money...(600 to 800 a week!) Hell, I happy!

The only problem. I have to travel, and I dont have a car, nor a drivers licsence. I will get a car, even if I have to be a pimp! So, when I told him that, he was really dissapointed, BUT a couple hours later I get an email saying he will have the same position opening up in 2 months!!!

Screw those dead end jobs! The other other 2 problems- 1) I have no money for college, so I'll be able to work full time, which means I have to put my dreams on hold and focus on another area of my life. But hell! I'll be learning shiz I never knew, Like scsi, switches, hubs, win2k...etc, and 2) Im having 2nd thoughts. Sure I wont be at college, but part of me liked college because of the fact people I knew from high will be there, and it gave me a sort of comfort. But as with number 1 is the deciding factor (and I wont take out a student loan either!) I have to accept the job.

Happy! Yes I am! Ive been experimenting a lot this week with copper and it compounds. Ive been using Copper Pipe thats been squished into Flat Bars. I my ultimate goal is to somehow get Copper Oxide through electrolysis. Well The first time I experimented, I used Salt water as the electrolyte. All I got from that was Copper Chloride and other compounds. Then I got a hold of some HCL, and used that. Unfortunately, I got Copper Chloride, but it greater amounts. Hmm Interesting I thought...

After 2 tries, I formulated a theory- Copper + A chloride Compound = Copper Chloride. I dont know why I didnt see it before, but I see it now. Dont get me wrong Copper Chloride isnt Totally useless, It can be used in fire places (or other fires) to give nice colors, but the gas isnt too pleasant (probably left over HCL). So now I had to come up with something else. I looked around on Wiki, and the answer was right there. Ive been overlooking it the whole time. So heres what I had to do:

Some how I had to get Copper Carbonate, After that, It can be heated to form Copper Oxide. Thats when I had success. The only Compound I had was Baking Soda, aka Sodium Bicarbonate. I quickly put together a small experiment, let it sit for a hour or 2, and then I took out the anodes. There sat Copper Carbonate, a greenish blue compound. I heated it up with a torch and got my compound!

Now I decided I could keep going and find something better, or Improve on it. I decided to go on and find something else. When I read about Baking Soda, I read that it decomposes completely at 200 Degrees. So I heated it up and tried that. Thats when I ran into a problem. The problem was I was forming Carbon on the Anodes. Opps, I didnt want to do that (well It was black, so I think it was carbon) So I cleaned the anodes with sandpaper, and started over.

Currently there is 1 Cathode, and 3 Anodes. So far, its been running for about an Hour. The solution is blue, and there is a greenish blue compound forming on the anodes. Some of it is sinking to the bottom, which is what I want. Thats how I got a large amount of rust from my last experiment.



Im so happy right now, It feels good knowing that your successful after 2-3 Tries, Its very rewarding. Hell, even though I failed 2 times, I still learned something and formulated a theory.

Well I finally got a job..Although its not a REAL job I guess you could say, But still, Its a source of Income so I guess it would Qualify as a job... I basically sell stuff, But Food stuff...err Products. You know, Glazes, Sauces, mixes and such. Its actually pretty good stuff (Ive tasted some of it).

I can earn up to 36% of what I sell, but I start at 28% profit (which isnt bad..) The only bad thing is I wont have a constant source of income (ie like a real job). The money I earn is a function of how much I sell. Theoretically, to earn around $700 I have to sell $2.5K of stuff.

Meh, Its money. So I guess I cant complain. I really have nothing to lose, So that why I did it. (for me, there was no start up fee, its just the first couple of orders I take will pay for my reg and stuff). The only other thing is, I have to be enthusastic about selling this stuff...

I know it seems a bit cliche, But I was thinking of going door to door to sell stuff..

My bestest friend just got out of a bad relationship and is going through a divorce, well apparently her soon-to-be ex-husband changed all her passwords for her MySpace and Hotmail, well with a little help from her I managed to change them back, AND I broke into his email and changed all HIS passwords.
