| Sam-Hoe-rai N-Hoe-mad | Okay, so I figure this is a good place to put this one... Here's what's on my "fears" list lately... 1. I'm leaving my job. I think I'm done with PC repair, I don't think I have the personality for it (unless I was calling the shots, which isn't going to happen. I've worked repair in two states... one was too little structure, this one is too much). This leads to: 2. I'm changing career paths... which means I have pick something and get some education (time and money)... 3. Without losing my car during my period of unemployment (still have three and a half years left on payments). 4. I'm moving within the next two months... probably to either Washington (less likely now), or about 100 miles from Phoenix (more likely)... which isn't reputed to have the best job base... so I'll be looking for a job in a depressed economy, in a place not famous for having work... which leads back to fear#3. 5. I've been trying to find another chick to hook up with... but nobody fits the bill around me. I've been flirting with a girl who's probably trouble, but it looks like fun... but with fear#1 and #3, it's not something that's overly realistic for me right now. I gotta squirrel the cash and shut off stupid desires for women who aren't gonna do me any good... 6. I could stay in Phoenix, but I'd have to dump everything I have into an apartment, and I'm on shaky ground at work (mostly 'cause my boss and I don't see eye-to-eye and we never will. In my philosophy, if you've got a stressful job... you really don't need a manager who doesn't know how to manage except by criticism)... Also, I'm not holding up in the heat very well... 7. Parental figures are driving me nuts (can't complain there, I mean... they did support my ass for more than a few months during my unemployment last time). Still, living with one's parents after being alone is NOT easy. Basically, picture a room-mate that still considers themselves in charge of your time. I gotta move out, but I have to know where to go (as I'm not stable in my current job) but if I keep jumping all over the place, I'll be 30 and living at home... which isn't anywhere I wanna be... 8. My car requires the 60k tune-up... which I don't know when I'm going to be able to afford... even if I do it myself. So, I'm debating if I want to take a chunk of the cash I have now and put it into my 60K and risk going broke in two months if I lose/quit my job, or do it because if I get fired/quit... it'll probably be the only time I have to do it as I'll be looking for work again. 9. I already put in notice at my apartment complex that I'm leaving... so I have about 50 days left to find another place to live or I'm gonna be living in my car... Anyway... not really asking for sympathy. I'm just postin' this 'cause I just needed to spell it out and look at it (mostly 'cause it's a lot to keep track of, and I've been kind of moody lately). Kind of curious what everyone else has for "fears" right now...

| Bi P-Hoe-lar | I'm leaving for college in a few weeks, and so is my girlfriend. I'm afraid our relationship will have trouble adjusting to the long distance and fewer meetings.

| Sam-Hoe-rai N-Hoe-mad | Dude... you hate needles? I drank some tainted water when I was a kid (bout 7 years old)... they used me as a human pin cushion for over two weeks... we're not just talking a thin needle in the arm... we're talking IVs in the feet, legs, arms, hands... I used to be terrified of needles... I forced myself to start doing my own B12 injections, and I got over it... first time I donated blood (forced myself to do that too) I had a seizure on the table (arm was black and blue from wrist to shoulder... looked kind of cool). These days, I don't like it... but it doesn't bother me.
