Anathema made a post a short while back about writer's block. I came across my own writer's block tonight, and so I just began to write and let my inner poet guide me. Here's the result, make of it what you will.

The worst wounds do not bleed.
We always hurt the ones we love. ItÂ’s a trite expression, and it isnÂ’t true. We hurt everyone, and those we love only feel it more because of their feelings. Even though love is eternal, suffering endures just as well.

I am a hopeless romantic. I find that I enjoy the comfort that comes with spending a pleasant evening with the girl I love the most enjoyable instant of time I have ever experienced. A nice walk in the moonlight with her, just being close, means more to me than my very soul. ItÂ’s an addiction, plain and simple. After leaving her company for only a few minutes, I begin to miss her. We have plans for the future, but a five hour drive between our residences for the next year leads me to see pain in my future.

Our time here is short, but not all hope is lost. The act of living, of truly seizing life and running with it makes your life what it is. Do not let others make your life, for it will be a shadow, a vague reckoning of an existence. True being must be created by the soul, must be founded on the person who lives the life. Take the advice of others, listen to the past, but let your actions be your own. He who masters his own destiny masters the world, and he who is the true owner of his self will live into history. Immortality is what you make in this world; let your immortality lie in your self.

You seemed to be depressed. I don't know why, but I'm sure you do. You better talk to Anthema and she'll make everything better.

yeah, I get depressed alot. I've had a couple pretty bad breakdowns in the past, but I'm doing quite a bit better now than I used to be. I just let out my depression in my writing then go listen to The Red Hot Chili Peppers and Bush and then i feel better, sometimes.

Hmmm mixin the ridlin(spelling) and coffee isnt always the answer.

no its not man you need to be careful with that stuff, you know that if you are having some problems you can always IM me on msn and i'll talk to yah!!!! keep your head up champ things WILL get better heh now that you have a GF you should be happy!!! just remember that we are all in this together and that we all will support each other should it be needed!!!!

I took ridilin for 6+ years, man that stuff is horrible, made me severly depressed, I wouldn't eat and wouldn't do anything, always snapped at people, and easily angered. I haven't been on it since a bad incident in 10th grade but man if anyone here is taking itand is depressed get off of it, seriously, I have been through very similar problems and if anyone here needs to talk about it IM me.

Wow guys!!!!! I definately meant that as a joke and in no way meant to say that Duplex is takin ridlin.

i'm on nine different medications, none of which are for depression, ADD, ADHD, or the like.

On a side note, I'm not depressed anymore, just got a bit of a cold.
