Default Anyone know fashion?

Yeah, I know, a pimp asking for fashion advice...

But, I'm colorblind... That means that I occasionally mismatch my stuff, or mix up the yellow wire and the red wire on my power supply...

That being said, from time to time I'm gonna post outfits and get you guys to tell me what's wrong with them... Or just what I wear, in an effort to fix my appearance and get back to being a part of society instead of *just* sitting behind a computer....

I actually went out and had my hair cut and highlighted, and got new dress clothes... I'm posting my Easter pics tomorrow for your amusement...

If you have experience, please let me know...

Oh you're kidding me, right? So I shouldn't have been so uptight about forgetting my black socks for my formal tux for band? Dang it, when did they change the book and not tell me

Well when you are talking formal it is still a no no, unless you are going for the bluesbrothers theme.. Casual dress on the other hand is different.. It is fashional to wear white socks with a black pair of doc martins or a lookalike..

Do what I do. Jeans and hawaiian shirts with a beige fedora and brown leather shoes or moccassins.

Can't go wrong with straight-cut baggy jeans and a loose white t-shirt. Some nice Jordan's would help the look too.

best fashion tip i ever got: keep it simple.

dont go for all the trends that use flashy colors or wierd shapes, cuz youll either look like an idiot wearing them(unless youre a model) or theyll go out of style faster than you can say...uhh, something short...
anyways, you really cant go wrong with solid colors or subtle patterns(VERY subtle). jeans are always good, and remember, your belt always matches your shoes, and the buckle matches your watch.

With all of the talk of white socks and black shoes or white shoes and black socks maybe this thread has the wrong title. It should be titled socks and shoes.

On a more serious note: you could always just go with the "it doesn't matter anyway" approach or my favorite... Get a couple of fleece vest/jackets and just were jeans/cords, a t-shirt, and the vest thingy. Color almost never is a problem (of course that could be because all of the clothing I own is black or red)... hmmm, that is another option also - just get a 1or 2 color wardrobe - it kind of eliminates the possibility of a mis-match.

k well i have helped my buddy out many time that was color blind with his rags.First thing was get yourself a slick reversable belt that way you have brown and black on the brown side it usually has type or writing on it ,if not get a sharpie and next too the buckle put a x there that way you know what color is what.if you can tell the difference between black and brow keep the browns next to the kacki side so they will appear lighter. As for clothes what others said simple is allways better ,if you are going to dress up to the hilt white shirt with a two to 3 color tie allways works best.Reason for 3 colors is that you get more for your cash in the long run because you can the go into colored shirts.
As for shirts most places will help ya out with color ,but if not stick with white, blue,or black ,yellow is another color. If you have probs with those colors in seeing the intensity you can allwasy grab the sharpie again and on the tag mark what color is what
Pants, jeans casual, dress kackie again or black.Dont go green or blue you will never wear em,and for all hope in humanity dont get into the fad of mixing stripped shirts with stripped ties .Solids will allways be classic.
Shoes those in my bok are the . of a explanation mark have fun with those it shows off your personality ,but dont go to crazy,if you see someone dressed sharp you will check em out head to toe so make your mark.Socks hell i i wear are white socks, those wimpy thin silky things dont do anything for foot smells ,or taking away the foot pains of walking around, but if you are office wiork they will do.
man hope i dont sound to gay giving fashion advise
Edit: the guy that mentioned matching the watch with the buckle ,hes right ,but dont sweat that go steel it goes with everything.
