Default Soundproofing up! - Mainframe down!!

Sup @ tha PC Apex crew!!

So the soundproofing materials arrived and it looks really nice wall-to-wall in the booth (i'mma try and snag some pics for y'all in a min), anyway, my bro Chunk was making a beat & my comp froze very odd with the mouse icon still working but nothing clickable. I let it cool for an hour, came back and it won't post ("no recording tonight!!" ).
I did happen to get everything from the day before backed up on our FreeAgent.
Diagnosis was pretty simple (and I've RMA'ed this model once before w/ same issue) - first, I swapped PSU's & successfully powered another system w/ the suspect Thermaltake TP650. That made me a little more happy (PSU failure = ), but ever more anxious to test the videocard, so I took it out and tried onboard video. - No post. - Next I tried the XMS single module & both sticks at once in different slots. - No news yet.. I dusted it all pretty well (think the bridging + heat & consumption of all available expansions got to it first tho - killed it pretty well )..
So I found myself rethinking my strategies. - I bought her for portability
but alas, in my Studio & home, I don't want my livlihood portable at all!!

Behold ~ The new and improved G.E.M-2:

S-CASE ISTAR|S-10000B BLK RT - Retail (Qty=1, Price=$106.99)

MB ASUS M2R32-MVP580X CrossFire AM2 - Retail (Qty=1, Price=$118.99)

CPU AMD|A64 X2 6000 3.0G AM2 2x1M R - Retail (Qty=1, Price=$169.99)

Paired w/ the x1900, ram & HighPoint Raid controller its gonna be pretty sweet (new-found speed & stability is good ).
Rather bummed about the week-long wait to get bacc in tha studio tho.
