 |  Re: The Decline of Civilization... i do my best to show 'common courtesy', but for the most part it's completely fake...a pathetic attempt to maintain some illusion that everything's OK...there's just too much idiotic B.S. in the world for it to be real anymore... it seems to me that if previous generations had 24 hour news inundating them with one tragedy after another they wouldn't act much better than we do...hell, if you watch/read/hear enough news it would be easy to believe that someone you know is a sex offender or some such crap...look out, they're EVERYWHERE... increase your knowledge, increase your sorrow...  |

I have a friend that always said that people should be fixed from birth not to have children, then when the time comes they want them, they have to take classes and get a license to prove they can be good parents. I always thought he was weird, but children today are rude and undisciplined and spoiled-and it all starts at home. Maybe my friend has a point. |
