you know those things are just analog repeaters so it doesnt mater what the signal is. its just going to send it back down. it doesnt care whether its MPEG2 or voice so they can convert over all their sats if they wanted to.
sea launch put up this satellite btw if you ever were curious who launches sats at the lowest price.
BTW your cable company can pull all the analog channels and do the same thing and coax still has more bandwith than satellite with two LNBs.
