GameDaily is reporting that The World Series of Video Games has signed a deal with CBS. Gameplay HD and College Sports Television (CSTV) are also part of the arrangement, which will bring professional gaming to U.S. network television for the first time. CBS will air a one-hour special on December 30th, with highlights from the finals. CSTV will then air snippets from the entire finals series, highlighting games like Halo 2 and Warcraft III. This one-hour special, filmed during the WSVG finals, hosted by Quddus and produced by Juma Entertainment, will detail the personal stories of five rising stars in professional gaming, most notably Johnathan 'Fatal1ty' Wendel."
