Moddersmart+ banner nuisance

How in the devil are you supposed to click on New Posts, & Quick Links in the User CP bar with this new Moddersmart+ vertical banner hiding those options? I use those 2 tabs all the time. It really is a pain in the elbow!

I am not sure what you mean... that banner should not cover anything since I have the DHTML menus disabled. Can you post a screenshot so I have a better idea of the problem?

Dude, upload the image to a free image host such as Free Image and Video Hosting - Photo Image Hosting Site : Photobucket.com or ImageShackÃ‚Â® - Hosting then put that URL in the [img] tags...

You need to upload that file, you can't hotlink files on your computer.

Here's an idea. How about you just attach it to the post with the handy dandy built in "manage attachments" button. That's what it is there for folks.

looks like ur font in firefox is way too big, instead of a resolution issue because the windows fonts and ads look right

try holding down control and use the plus and minus keys to change the font size, then the links should slide back over

edit: wrong keystroke first time around

nah, I am using IE and in PM's, the reply button a stuff is covered... resizing window etc doesn't do anything

I tried and thought the My Document...was deleted.
Then I created a post with the image linked to PhotoBucket. It must not have posted so I'll try again. Sorry about all that...pretty dumb huh!

Hey that screenshot link in my 3rd post above works! Don't understand your all's problem.

I agree with milosh, it looks like your font size is too large. As he said, hold the control key and hit the minus button or turn the scroll wheel on your mouse to make them smaller.

nope, changing font size doesn't affect it at all. I've tried it in FF as well as Opera, no joy.

What's your screen resolution set to?

both browsers are updated. I haven't messed with the monitor settings in a long time & have never had a problem like this but, the settings are:
19" 1280 X 800
17" 1280 X 960
also the problen is the same on both monitors.

well I finally got it worked out in Opera which I'm using by default anyway.
I just right click on any page>hold shift & click on what I want blocked.
I simply can't believe no one else has had this banner problem...makes me feel like I'm banished to some underground den of endless purgatory!
