Default New Navigation Menu + Questions. :)

Well, I have a new navigation menu up on the main site (and about to implement it site-wide as well) and would like to know if you run into any issues using it as well as any feedback you have about it.

I also have a question for you. Do any of you use the "Forum Quick Nav" drop down menu at the top of the very left column? I am thinking of giving it the axe since you will be able to jump to forums using the new menu as well (albeit not as detailed).

As always, your feedback is greatly appreciated.

Sweet! Very nice, those damn drop down menus were making me insane. They were always staying and interfering with my browsing.

But what about the "Forum Quck Nav" drop down menu? Do any of you use it? The one at the top of the left column on all pages...

I personally don't use it, and from a design standpoint, having both the new menu setup and the dropdown is redundant. I'd axe the drop down menu, personally.

I wouldn't miss it. Not a bad idea but it kind of goes unnoticed.

I never use the Forum Quck Nav drop down.
I do like the new Nav bar, the old one was always in the way.

Loving the new menu thingy...

I cant even picture the Forum Nav... thingy you are mentioning so i guess i wont be missing it :-) lol

One thing that i would quite like to be able to do is access User CP from the front page. Unless im being totally backwards i cant find any other way than going into some random thread / forum and accessing from there.

Any chance of a link to user cp from the main page?

Great work GK!

Mark

I never used the drop-down menus because they would always show up behind the Flash banners just below them (using Firefox in Linux). The new menu is much much better, functionality-wise.
