2 new posts sections?

Ok just an idea but could we have two sperate "new posts" sections, sometimes it hard to trawl your way through the amount of news feeds and memeber posted news to get to other threads such as those asking for help etc...

Just an idea.

I would like this as well .. since 98% of hte 1st page is newbot post .. it does discourge one to dig through all of those for real post.

or give us a button that excudes the news postings.

You certainly can set it up this way in your User Control Panel.

Simply go to your User Control Panel and select "Edit Options". At the bottom of the page, simply highlight the sections that you do not want to see new posts from (hold down the Control key for multiple selections). Click Save and you're all set.

Sorry but the non-view option is not working for me...it used to work to block The Register but that's not working now. I have high lighted News & Gaming several times to no avail.
I do agree with the guys above. I simply don't always have time to scroll through page after page of Ars Tecnica, Blues News, and The Register.
I notice more often than not that there are never more than 1 or 2 viewers for those threads.
So I really think a solution other than a select option that doesn't work would be in order.

If it isn't working, have you posted this in the PCApex Bugs thread for Glitterkill to take a look at? Seems to me a whole lot easier to fix something than to create something new.

I had the same issue when using an older version of Firefox, but upgrading to a newer release and clearing my cache, then restarting Firefox cleared up the issue.
