got the link from a local newspaper, the 'toronto star' when they did an article about case modding

that was around late 2001
since then i've always looked at the gallery and read the news
i've only begun to enter the forums again

I think it started at Designtechnica ( dont remember how I found them though) and then I saw a link for Virtual-hideout...and then from there I found Pimprig. and the story goes on

i used to surf around(such a hoe!)lookin at different articles and such on any and all sites i could find.
then i jumped a link from VH and found the PIMPDADDY of all mod sites!!
i lurked here most every day for about 5(!?) months before i registered.
now its first thing after work every day.

I saw the coffe machine rig in MAxPC and came here 2 seconds after, am here first thing when i boot up , last thing at night , all thru the day just readin and postin on firums , this IS the best sight that I've ever been on , has taught me everyithg I've wanted to know bout modding which I didnt know what that was 2 months ago but since I 've bot 2 lian-lis and am buying a 3rd next week...I've seen the others but this is the easiest case to make a comp out of or swap parts in or out of.
Everyon here is helpful to with srait answers not no bs

Bought a case back in February and was reading a lot of reviews and doing searches on hardware. I saw a picture of the caffeine machine on [H]ardOCP and followed the link here, read the how to and started going through the case gallery. The gallery, the forums and the regular posts on new hardware and misc stuff have kept me coming back pretty much daily.

I wanted a Lian-li and was shopping around e-bay and found a modded case for sale, I was awe struck and had to learn more, so eventually i think i came across directron and ended up here.. that was around jan or feb.... been hooked ever since.

This thread is almost a month old... where the hell have I been?

I was instantly hooked and i started checking out galleries and stuff.. Then i this like popped out at me like a nudist in times square.. Pimprig.com was the the title and i was whao **** this looks cool so i stopped by and noticed that you guys a the best gallery i've seen. I saw Wixx's caffiene machine before it was headlined in Max. PC and PC gamer. I fell in love with this site.. and have been here ever since

PR WILL be a premier modding site that will be the homepage of thousands of wannabe modders. What we need is this:

You pimps who get new equipment? Review it! Break it down and let us know the plus and minus to it.

You pimps who are planning your mod? Document it! Let the other members know how you achieved your mod.

PR depends upon you guys, the members, to stay online. The more input that is recieved, the stronger PR will be.

I originally found out about this place because they hosted a LAN party (Stompfest if anyone's interested). Before, i really didnt know that much about modding, overclocking, water-cooling, or any of that other cool crap.

I'm new here. My friend got me interested in modding a pc, so i started on mine then searched the web and came across taconuts.com found your link there. I liked how the comments were honest although brutally honest but hey why sugar coat your oppinion. keep up the good work PR

Well thank you DW. yes! I agree with you. Everyone one is making a big deal about his plexi door when I did mine two years ago it even has frosted flames in it, with blue glow wire inside to highlight it. I'm saving for a digital cam for picks. My web cam doesn't do it justice.
