Server Move Bug List

OK, the bare basics of the forum should be back up and running. We are still working on getting the url rewrites to behave how they should so for now all the urls are the old, ugly way to do them. Once I get that issue sorted as well as the main page index then the site will be well on its way to being back to normal. Please leave a post here concerning any bugs you have encountered. I expect there will be a bit of tweaking involved to get everything back like it was on the old server.

PS: New attachment have been reenabled.

I don't get a homepage with all of the recent forums/modlogs.

I have to click on forums to see anything.

I've been getting error 404 page cannot be found off and on all day. When its off, everything is honkey dorey. When its on, every page on the site can be viewed just fine, with the exception of the forum pages. Just lettin you know. Good luck with the rest of the transition.

Been having trouble accessing the forums all day. I am finally able to post this... but the homepage is still funky. Hope everything falls into place.

Thanks guys. I am workign to get things back to normal. It is basically a server-side config that has to be tweaked to allow for our url rewrites. I am also getting with Vladimir to see if he can help.

Could not select the database 'pimprig_com_-_forums'

when I typed PCApex.com - Hardware Reviews, News &; Mods in IE7 (@ school) I got that error

Whoops, just noticed it was already posted. The day the forums went back up, I got 404 errors for all threads, although I could browse the forums, I couldn't open any thread.

OK, much of the server and PCApex has been smoothed out on the new server. After talking to Spectrum last night I think this is the perfect time to look into doing something which I am sure many of your would really like... combining PCApex with GameApex in one forum.

The mail system is being built tonight; that is the last thing needed.

Logging in is ... weird?

I ran CCleaner and it wiped my user id so I put it back in.

1] I didn't go back to the post I was trying to add to, I went back to the log-on screen.

2] Still couldn't edit the thread until I did a page refresh holding down the shift key. Even exiting and re-entering the site didn't work.

Maybe the right answer is don't use CCleaner but...
