wPrime - '32M' quick test and wPrime - '1024M' stability test

wPrime in test phase

We've recently added wPrime, a multithreaded prime benchmark application, to our suite. The application is still in the testfase, so we would like to ask not to submit scores until the last bugs are ironed out. Results which are submitted prematurely may be deleted once the hwbot version of wPrime is released. Thank you for understanding.

Should be good, means impatient people like myself (who are lucky enough to have dual core CPU's) won't have to wait so long for 32M SuperPi. 1024 million decimal place though...

Multithreaded benchmark applications are ready to use and is giving Points
The wPrime Appz are out of Beta Testing

wPrime added to hwbot suite, now applicable for hwboints

We are happy to announce that wPrime, an new benchmark application that takes full benefit of having a multiplecore processor, has been added to the hwbot benchmark suite.
wPrime has the same ease of use as SuperPi, but has 4 key benefits:
  1. multithreaded: take full use of your dual / quad core processor
  2. simplified: click 32M for a quick test, 1024M for a stability test. No 10 different methods to choose from.
  3. hwbot integration / one click comparison: no need to manually enter your result on hwbot, or post it in a bot monitored forum. Just click Â’submitÂ’ and you can compare your result to ten thousands of other overclockers. If you belong to a team which uses a bot to monitor your forum, the bot will will update your forum ranking too.
  4. hardware recognition: in contrary to superpi, wPrime dedects your hardware automatically.
The current version is v1.28. Previously submitted results by beta testers with a client < 1.27 will be deleted.

It's a bit sad the results are submitted through the client. No direct on-forum bragging.

Just ran mine, and was surprised to find my stock-clocked 4600+ within one or two seconds of your 2634MHz 3800+, although yours had a 200MHz edge. Maybe it's buggy.

Yeah, the current recommended version of wPrime (v1.28) asks windows the clockspeed of the processor, and windows isn't good at telling it.

Luckely, we got permission of Frank (CPU-z author) to embed the cpu-z engine within wPrime. The next version will have exact cpuspeed readout, vcore, ram settings, mobo, ...

Officially you still have to use v1.28. I know wprime has developped further, but I can't keep up the pace. I need to upgrade the hwbot server in order to support v1.31 fully.
