| Hey Folks, I have been a little idle in the overclocking arena. With Showdown LAN and GEFORCE LAN over with, I can now focus back on overclocking. So I went ahead and cruised thru HWBOT, which I think is so cool And now they have the overall ranking feature, it is even better. While I was crusing the site, I noticed I am currently ranked 120th. I was like.. Damn.. that ain't good I need to start OC'in again.![]() Since I do a work log for my case mods, I figure I can do something similar for Overclocking So hence, the start of my Project "Assault on Hwbot". Members may get a kick out of this thread, but there maybe a possibility I will be the only one posting and reaading this thread ![]() As with any project, there needs to be a goal and deadline to determine if the project is a success or not. So for now..I am going to lay these two objectives for this project: 12/31/06 - SuAsDu is ranked 50th or better 2/28/06 - SuAsDu is Ranked 25th or better So let the OverClockign begin!!! ![]() SAD Note - I hope to keep this thread fun and enjoyable for all. If this thread starts to get thread crapped, I reserve the right to immdiately stop posting any results, and may request a moderator to lock it. | ||

| I started out in 97th place when the rankings for members began, then moved slowly upward until im now in like 170th or worse, although i think necro had 50th or close to that when his 6600 was new, the points system revovles around "popularity" of hardware, and how much overhead you have on the next score. So in the bases, your E6400 is #1 but since it isnt as popular as the E6600 the score you get is 10points, whereas the 6600 has a 30 point score for top place. The same revolves around the GPU you use. Good luck to you though glad to see your conquest is interesting | ||

| OTOH, the nice thing about an unpopular system is how easy it is to lead an unpopular category. I proudly hold a silver trophy, despite having a poorly configured setup, because there's only two 4600+ results in the SuperPi database. ![]() | ||

| Hey Folks, Well.. the CPU benches w/ the e6600 were great. My ranking climbed up almost 30 places!!! ![]() Here is snap shot of the current sig as of 12/8/06 ![]() I still have 44 places to go to reach my goal of top 50 by the end of the year. If all goes well, I should be able to conduct some SLI Runs. The hard part is that these cards are not as popular, so the points gained will be minimal. But some points are better then no points ![]() I have already volt modded my sli, and gave them a good run through on air. So whens I bench this weekend, i expect to put it on water for sure, and if I have time, I might try to take them subzero ![]() Ok.. I will take pictures of my benching setup this weekend ![]() SAD | ||

I reckon you'd be able to take all the 7800GTX 256MB records, with your rig.

| Seriously.. I think the 7800GTX group will be VERY hard to get top scores. Some of these cards are very good overclockers. I have seen some with GPU and Mem speeds that are just plain incredile. Even with vmods and subzero cooling. I am not sure if I can beat them. But... we will have fun trying ![]() SAD | ||

I just did a small review on Swiftech's SLI watercooling solution over at HardwareHell. I'm not sure if it's been posted yet. I've been told someone else want's to check them out. But I'm not sure who else over there has the equipment to check them out. Maybe Cpt.Planet. I might be able to get them to you, if you wanted to do a second review. A couple hours of typing at most. I know you've turned me down before. But theses are pretty cool :-) (I have them on 2 - 7800GTX's)

Slay, As usual, you are awesome guy. Thank you so much for the offer. I may take you up, but I will have to see. I have been pretty much DangerDen exclusive. I never really looked at any of Swiftech's latest SLI creations. I will have to take a look online in a bit to see how they look. ![]() SAD
